A Journey From an Aspiration to a Philosophy

Our founder, Anthony Nguyen, grew up in a rural village in post-war Central Vietnam. With his parents’ sacrifices, he had the opportunity to pursue an education and later spent nearly a decade working for an American company. It was during this time that he realized a profound truth: Vietnamese engineers possessed immense talent and diligence, yet they lacked an environment to realize their full potential.

At the same time, he witnessed a paradox: thousands of talented engineers in his homeland were unemployed, while companies in the US were struggling to find qualified personnel to fill their talent gaps.

That was the moment the aspiration of AXA Engineers was sparked: to build a bridge connecting the untapped potential of Vietnamese engineers with the urgent needs of the global market.

Humble Beginnings & An Unexpected Turning Point

In 2016, AXA Engineers was born, with a name that encapsulated the dedication of its co-founders: ある nthony, his wife X uan, and their first valued ある ソシエイト。

The early days were a true test of perseverance. But it was within those hardships that a philosophy was born: the solution wasn’t in stricter management, but in building a stronger foundation: 人。

Recognized by Autodesk through an official Partner Success Story; invited to share at the Autodesk APAC Panel Discussion; featured on the covers of World’s Leaders & APAC Entrepreneur; acknowledged as holding the highest number of individual Civil 3D licenses in Vietnam.

2025

Proudly achieved the #1 “Best Workplaces in Vietnam” ranking, were invited to share at the Workplace Culture Masterclass, and notably, our journey was recognized by the US industry itself through an article on the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) platform.

Our journey is still ongoing. The aspiration to become a leading global Design Hub is no longer a distant dream but is being realized through concrete steps.

Starting in 2025, AXA Engineers is proud to become an official host company in an international internship program, welcoming talented students from around the world. This is not only a chance for us to share our culture, but also the first step in building a global talent network where learning knows no borders.
